Author Guidelines

Authors must submit their manuscripts online by first registering as an author on the StatX: Journal of Advanced Statistical Methods and Applications website. For each submission, authors are required to follow the terms and conditions as well as the manuscript preparation guidelines provided by the journal.

General Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be prepared using the StatX: Journal of Advanced Statistical Methods and Applications template and style guide.
  2. Submitted manuscripts must be original scientific works that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication in any other journal or media.
  3. The journal welcomes manuscripts in the form of original research articles, literature reviews, methodological studies, analytical studies, and problem-solving papers in the field of statistics and its applications.
  4. Manuscripts should be written in English and prepared in Palatino Linotype, 11 pt, single spacing, one-column format, unless otherwise specified in the journal template.
  5. The manuscript must begin with an abstract of 100–200 words. The title, abstract, and keywords must be provided in English.
  6. The abstract should clearly state the background of the study, objectives, methods, main findings or novelty, and conclusions.
  7. The author’s name should be written without academic titles or degrees. If a manuscript is written by more than one author, all correspondence will be conducted with the corresponding author.
  8. Manuscripts should be organized into the following main sections:
    • Introduction: includes the background, problem formulation, literature review, objectives, and significance of the study.
    • Methods: describes the research design, data, materials, instruments, and analytical procedures.
    • Results and Discussion: presents the findings and their interpretation. Subsections may be used where necessary.
    • Conclusion: provides a concise summary of the main findings and implications of the study.
    • References: listed alphabetically and prepared according to APA Style.
  9. Manuscripts should normally be 12–18 pages in length, including tables, figures, and references.
  10. References cited in the manuscript should primarily come from recent and relevant sources, especially journal articles, research papers, or other scholarly works published within the last 10 years.
  11. In-text citations and references must follow the APA citation style.
  12. Submitted manuscripts must fully comply with the journal’s formatting and style requirements. Manuscripts that do not follow the required format may be returned to the authors for revision before entering the review process.
  13. The article must not contain any form of plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication of data.
  14. Authors are required to revise and resubmit their manuscripts within the time limit specified by the Editor.
  15. All authors and co-authors are required to have an ORCID iD at the time of publication. Authors are encouraged to register for ORCID during manuscript preparation.
  16. Please note that manuscripts which fail to meet the journal’s requirements may be returned to the author for amendment. Only manuscripts submitted in the correct format and style will be considered by the Editors.
