Peer Review Process

StatX: Journal of Advanced Statistical Methods and Applications follows a double-blind peer review policy. Each submitted manuscript is evaluated by independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field, in accordance with the journal’s guidelines and the standards of high-quality scientific research. For manuscripts requiring revision, the same reviewers may be invited to re-evaluate the revised version to ensure that the paper meets the journal’s publication standards.

StatX: Journal of Advanced Statistical Methods and Applications is committed to maintaining the integrity and quality of the peer review process while ensuring efficiency, fairness, and timely publication.

All research articles published in StatX: Journal of Advanced Statistical Methods and Applications undergo a full peer review process, with the following key characteristics:

1. All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by at least two qualified experts in the relevant field.
2. All publication decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned editors based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations.
3. Members of the Editorial Board provide academic insight, advice, and support to the Editor-in-Chief in maintaining the quality and integrity of editorial decisions.
4. Managing Editors and Editorial Assistants provide administrative support to ensure a fair, transparent, and efficient review and publication process for authors, reviewers, and editors.

Peer Review of New Submissions

Manuscripts submitted directly to StatX: Journal of Advanced Statistical Methods and Applications are subject to full double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise. Based on the reviewers’ reports and editorial evaluation, the Editor-in-Chief or a designated editor will decide whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.

In making editorial decisions, the journal considers whether the manuscript:

• presents sound and well-conducted research,
• applies appropriate and rigorous statistical or analytical methods,
• offers conclusions that are clearly supported by the data and analysis,
• demonstrates originality and relevance to the scope of the journal, and
• contributes meaningfully to the development of advanced statistical methods and applications.

Editorial decisions are based primarily on scientific quality, methodological rigor, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope, rather than solely on the perceived level of novelty. However, all accepted papers should provide a clear scholarly contribution to the field of statistics and its applications.
